I’ve been following with great interest, but it’s been well over a month since the last up date here. Hope everything is still okay with the team. Summer holidays, illness, other life commitments?
This project is obviously going to take years, cost tens of thousands, and needs to result in a very accurate and play-sturdy rendering of the Falcon.
Faced with all that I’d understand anyone having second thoughts about making such a big commitment to it.
If and when you succeed though the results have the potential to be fabulous for Falcon fans all over and I wish you 12 whole parsecs of luck with it.

I was wondering if you noticed that the placement of the ladder in the access to the quad laser canons is placed wrong the movie and any references to the ship. You will notice that the access is directly across the corridor to the cockpit, and the ladder is directly across the access. Compare the location of the ladder to where the chair and the laser canon is mounted. If this is true, the ladder would have to be mounted to the side of the access not across the access. Or the access to the tunnel to the canons would have to be facing the rear of the ship and not the side towards the cockpit.
