New 3D render cutaway image

November 20, 2012 in Design

Here’s the latest 3D render of our full-size model with a cutaway showing how the interior will fit inside the exterior.

This is the true full-scale 114′ foot long version that we are building, not the movie set replica size. It uses the DK Blueprints for the floorplan with 90% of the kinks worked out for the interior.

More to come soon, including another video walkthrough. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: Here’s the video walkthrough: Latest 3D animation

  1. Hi, Stinson
I have some time during operas between cues and, while I’m not fully CAD fluent, I dabble a bit. Is there a way to get a copy of the model so I can try out framing the deck level? Also, based on the model, I take it that we are building the ANH landing gear layout. Is that a firm decision? From a load standpoint, most of the interior detail lies almost directly above and between the added landing gear from Empire.

I think what you have there is AMAZING,

    Scot
